CHANOMA TEA SETS

Maruyo Koizumi Shōten, with the desire to offer tea time as a time of healing and enjoyment, has developed a new series of tea utensils called “chanoma” that aligns with modern lifestyles. Valuing tradition and craftsmanship, these redesigned tea utensils retain the performance and quality of Tokoname-yaki while adapting to contemporary aesthetics. The transformed tea utensils received the Good Focus Award, which recognizes regional community design at the 2022 Good Design Awards, contributing to a renewed appeal of Tokoname as a pottery production region.
