■ Daniela Olejníková Born in 1986. She is an illustrator from Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. She works mainly on illustrations for books. She alternates between digital production and traditional painting techniques such as linocut, acrylic, and watercolor to create light and sophisticated illustrations that are not bound by technique. She won the Golden Medal in 2013 and the Golden Apple in 2017 at the Bratislava World Picture Book Original Art Exhibition.
