Collection: Buoy

Since its debut in 2019, buoy has earned multiple social and environmental awards for its proprietary marine plastic upcycling process. Its products are carried by leading retailers including the MoMA Design Store Kyoto and select LOFT locations across Japan. In June 2026, buoy will partner with Saga Prefecture to launch PLAPLA—Japan’s first Marine Plastic Upcycle Museum—dedicated to educating the public on recycling and upcycling.

Crafted in Japan from 100% upcycled marine plastic collected along the country’s shores, each buoy piece transforms waste into something refined and visually striking, defined by its uniquely calibrated colors.
